On the move: Your equine partner's health in motion

Manual Techniques
Manual therapy refers to the application of hands for a diagnostic or therapeutic intent, to promote healing and includes techniques such as massage, stretching and myofascial release
Massage
Massage uses a number of techniques to apply pressure and manipulate soft tissues. It helps reduce pain, muscle tension and stiffness, relieve spasms, increase range of motion and promotes relaxation.
Stretching
Stretches are great for improving flexibility, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing performance. They can target specific areas of the body and used as part of a home exercise programme, to ensure horses keep improving between treatments.
Myofascial release
Fascia is the scaffolding of muscles, keeping them together, by surrounding and covering muscles. Myofascial release is achieved through specific massage techniques and helps relieve pain and increase range of motion.
